Saw this on www.soft.com.sg (check this portal out;lots of goodies across the causeway) for SGD220 and decided to grab it...A Melody Maker or even an LP Jr. is way too stiff a price for a beginner.Therefore,I settled for a G1125 which is more decent and affordable.The specs are not bad either - made in South Korea and quality finish.See pics below:
Recent model has Gretsch name on the synchromatic spot and the latter becomes Electromatic
Next project - change the mini humb to a P90 but for now will make full use of the stock P/U
